3. How is the Mounjaro 5mg KwikPen administered?
It is intended to be injected subcutaneously once a week. Recommended injection sites typically include the abdomen, thigh, or upper arm. Your healthcare provider will advise on proper technique.

4. When is the dose increased from 2.5mg to 5mg?

Mounjaro may generally be injected at any time of the day, with or without food. It is recommended to administer it on the same day each week for consistency. Follow your doctor's instructions regarding timing.

6. What if I miss a dose?
If a dose is missed, it may be administered as soon as possible within 4 days of the missed dose. If more than 4 days have passed, it is generally advised to skip the missed dose and resume the regular weekly schedule. Always consult your doctor or pharmacist if you are unsure.

9. Is Mounjaro 5mg suitable for patients with kidney disease?
Patients with pre-existing kidney conditions may require additional caution when using Mounjaro, as dehydration resulting from gastrointestinal side effects could potentially affect kidney function in some individuals. Please consult your nephrologist or physician for personalised advice.
