Composition: Palbociclib


Mechanism of Action:

Palbociclib inhibit the CDK4 and CDK6, which are essential for controlling the cell cycle. Palbociclib inhibits the growth of cancer cells by blocking these kinases, which stops cells from moving from the G1 phase of the cell cycle to the S phase.


Uses: 

·         Hormone receptor-positive breast cancer.

·         Advanced or metastasized breast cancer.

To improve absorption, Palbociclib should be taken with meals. Instead of chewing or crushing the pills, they should be consumed whole. Palbociclib is normally given orally once day for 21 days at a dose of 75 mg, with a 7-day break (28-day cycle).
